Chocolate Ice Milk

Ingredients:

  • 1 quart milk
  • 1 ¼ cups sugar
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate

Instructions:

  1. Heat Milk & Sugar:
    In a saucepan, gently heat the milk and sugar together until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Melt Chocolate:
    In a separate saucepan, slowly melt the unsweetened chocolate over low heat until smooth.
  3. Combine:
    Gradually add the warm milk and sugar mixture to the melted chocolate, stirring constantly to keep it smooth.
  4. Cook:
    Continue cooking over medium heat, stirring, until the mixture is completely smooth. Remove from heat and cool thoroughly.
  5. Freeze:
    Pour the cooled mixture into the bowl of your Whynter ice cream maker and freeze following the manufacturer’s instructions.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve as is for a lighter chocolate treat or top with fresh berries or a sprinkle of nuts for added texture.
