Vanilla Ice Milk

A lighter alternative to traditional ice cream, Vanilla Ice Milk offers a creamy, refreshing treat without the heaviness of full cream. This basic recipe serves as a versatile base—you can easily add fruit purees, nuts, or other flavorings to suit your taste. Perfect for those who want a simple, satisfying dessert that’s a bit gentler on calories but still full of flavor.

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups skim milk
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 6 tablespoons non-fat dry milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract

Instructions:
  1. Heat:
In a saucepan, combine the skim milk, sugar, and non-fat dry milk. Stir gently over medium heat until both sugar and dry milk are fully dissolved. Remove from heat and cool thoroughly.
  2. Add Flavor:
Stir in the vanilla extract once the mixture is cool.
  3. Freeze:
Pour the mixture into the bowl of your Whynter ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
